Ah, yes. I cannot wait until Movie Night -- Chris will be thrilled :D

Not to mention the fact that I have Ribos Operation, Stones of Blood and The Armageddon Factor coming. (Yes, we're skipping about.)

And if I can get audio/visual leads we'll also have Ark in Space, Revenge of the Cybermen, Pyramids of Mars, The Brain of Morbius and The Deadly Assassin (not to mention Spearhead from Space, Day of the Daleks and the Beeb's Curse of the Fatal Death). Apparently my hand isn't quite as big as I thought it was, I could have sworn I managed Shada along with... but since it isn't here I guess my limit is five at a time.

SWEET! I'm an Admiral *AND* a Mindless Clone! :D

...I'm too amused for my own good, I'm sure.

It's been a year! Everyone is invited to contribute a piece of artwork for next month's show, celebrating the one year anniversary of Nonesuch!

Since we love to recycle, the goal of this show is to bring life back to an old piece of art. Search thrift shops for paintings, photographs, videos, objects... whatever you can use to start your new masterpiece!

  • *If you need information on local thrift shop hours and locations, please give me a call at (804) 649-4069*
  • The entries will be juried on May 3. All accepted works will be up for silent auction at our year anniversary party, May 5 (invitations to come!).
  • *please, nothing too large... a t.v. will be provided for video works*

This show is particularly exciting for me! I would really love it if all those who have been family to Nonesuch contribute a piece of artwork. Consider it a birthday request! I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

  • ...I'm thinking about it. Nonesuch is a gallery I've always wanted to step into but it seems so out of the way. Maybe I should set foot in there before then, eh?

Business prospects land in your lap and new romantic prospects fly into your arms. The going is pretty good right now, and you're wondering what you did to deserve this. Make the most of these opportunities.

*SNERK* Dunno about romantic interests (what are those?) but right before I read this there was a proposition in my inbox. We'll see.

    Icon! :D

I guess that's just me punishing myself for not managing classes for spring, eh. But yay textiles! And nearly five days a week without class :P Suitable for getting work done. And for working. Should be good.

There are stilts towards summer, there's a chance at $200 towards fall (art-oriented award). FAFSA should kick in again soon enough (fall). Someone is looking at my sketchbook proposition. There's a possible sweater commission in my future. I have five pin-ups in the planning process. I have all of this wool, I'm bound to have something churned out at some point that will be wanted. If not, there's always galleries and things around here. Or I can hand everything over to Zac, whichever -- he'd make some of the BEST hats out of my yarn, I know it -- creative and crafty, that's him.

I might be able to slide into a job somewhere on campus due to my being registered for classes, now (yes please?) and there's still Bogart's. Shearing for us starts mid- to late-May (we're having lots of strange weather lately, one day it'll be hot and the next dead cold with horrid rain and wind that'll knock someone over) so there's that. Mum said she's going to pay me back for the set of scales and we'll share profits in what we sell that I bought her from the auction.

...if I really need to sell my new-to-me steel circulars, mum said she wants first dibs (again, I've never seen any of those before in my life).

And I can always take out another loan if I absolutely need it. I always pay off my small, local loans on time. I've got decent credit, it won't be a problem. Still want to work my way through, though. Loans are a last resort.

GUH, I should try to get something made for MS&WF, even though I know (yes, I know now) that I won't be attending. Money sucks.
    stellie: (kissykissy)
There's an icon mucking about from a movie cover/poster. On that movie cover/poster are two people kissing (in the rain?)... and it looks an awful lot like this.

I don't know why but I suddenly remembered all of those random kissy-icons people have. The pose matches, doesn't it? Silly Who.
