And/or I can just sell the others online?), and paintings were a big novelty but only three of the eleven went away to new homes...

...I only sold one scarf. Seriously.
Rude awakening this afternoon upon overhearing a phone call.

I always forget. I don't pay attention. I can't calculate time.

I say that I feel like I'm stuck in 2004 far too often. My mind stays in 2005-06: June? I feel just fine other than a few storms passing. The rest of the year and the beginning of the next, too.

February comes, and things start to get off-kilter. March, my mind wanders. April, I'm in a state of 'blah' and my work slacks off.

May is coming.

I forgot that May is coming, and I should have known better. May puts me into a mental whirlwind of emotions that I can't shake. Then June comes and I start the loop again, feeling better and forgetting I just leapt through hell.

If you don't understand the backstory I've not stated, don't worry about it. I'll just be an emotional basket case for a small amount of time.

Hopefully not long - world issues are pulling at me, I'm constantly stressed, and I creep into Subeta and my knitting for comfort. I don't want to pull anyone down with me. This is always my burden - more sleep, more inattentive behavior, more crawling up and trying to figure out where to place my next chess piece.

comments

I know. "What does that title even *mean*?! "

I forget that I have accounts on LJ, DW, Twitter, dA, and so on. Between lack of time and lack of attention? I post on Facebook because it is just easier - I hide in Subeta because I need downtime. Everything else blurs.

I can say this: I have almost finished transferring a bit of fanfic from paper to digital. Once the last chapter is up, I'll even put an author's directory to references throughout (as there are a good handful, especially since no one knows who Jean-Marc Dumas is or where he came from or why he's with her).

Life is hard - fan fiction is harder when you're putting too much thought into it. Especially when you don't include any of the usual fan fiction main characters into the mix....

Monday, Monday

comments

There was a masque thread on Subeta (don't look at me like that - I have my amusements as much as others Pokemon go and all that other stuff I've no inclination towards) about dancing. That's what the masque is, a "dance" - I actually spent an hour and a half intentionally declining them so they could get the Denied! Achievement.

Ahem.

At any rate, this thread was one of those silly "in my pants" blurbs. To be placed behind a song title. And 'you remind me of the babe" popped into my head. I scrapped the ball gown for the Goblin King garb I had collected randomly last week - tweaked it, as the items combined were hideous - and...

"Dance Magic Dance" (in my pants) because it is a "Good Good Day" (in my pants)!

...was posted in response.

Was my brain wrong? It slaps me more than you might think.

Am I in my right to go with songs both Bowie and Cave?
