I was out at Barbara's today picking up a horse and she said that you e-mailed her. I told her that you are very good with horses and dogs! She would love to have someone like you working with her but she needs someone during the day time. Work for her during the day and school at night. I was just thinking out loud. That would be a very good job for you. Let me know what happens! Trish

Yeah... that really really makes me feel better about this situation. I've got to finalize some things around here and get that truck... and just... you know, tie loose ends up and figure out what I'm going to do.

I felt bad telling Jay that I didn't know what I could work next week -- but I didn't tell him why. All of the managers think I'm going to school :\

Yeah, if I ever get a reply, I know I'll be accepted -- just don't know when/if I'll go. Stupid things, I was ready to go soon, too...

I emailed Barbara. Told her about me not going to school directly -- need a job other than the one I have. (Can't stay there, too hectic and is grating on my last nerve. Seven months is long enough.) School possibly June or September (or, like, whenever VCU has school in fall -- August, I would suppose), so my position with her would not be a permanent one.

Horse (poor Cinnamon... I worked with her for a few minutes, then left... the look on her face was "What? That's it?!")

So, yeah, needless to say, I didn't sleep well last night because I have all of this mess going through my head. Never sleep well when I have things on my mind...

Horse-job! Fwee!

...poor Cinnamon. I would hate to see what she would do around other horses -- she's settled in quite well at the farm. I can't take her away from there to put her up at the horse rach...

...the other animals would miss her (she protects the lambs, nyah~) and I think she would miss the other animals.

So... yeah. Horse-job! I'm so friggen scared its not funny...

I hate telling my da anything. I asked him if he was going to be around the house tomorrow -- so he could help me look at the truck I want to see about getting.

He told me to buy the one from Joe instead.

Asked me why I wanted a truck instead of a car. Told him that I think I have a job lined up north of Richmond helping train horses and dogs.

He's trying to get me to work with Donna, a lady he knows that has horses. She lives somewhere close to here. He's also trying to get me to apprentice as a farrier.

I'm sick and tired of him doing this. If he wants me to stay home, he should come right out and say so.

If I wanted to get a job close to home dealing with horses, I would have friggen gone down the road and asked the TB ranch if they had any positions available. Feh.

...like I said, I need to get away from here.
