Well, hopefully my card will be activated to access the studio at some point today -- got my name and numbers on their little list to go through and re-activate things.

"Did you try to get it activated last semester at all?"
"Err... I never had any problems with it last semester. I came back after break and it wouldn't lemme in."
"Oh...." *blank look*

Gah. Silly people. And David seems to understand that stellie can't manage to do an animation for a class assignment, so he and I are going to take a peek at what my portfolio looks like so far, what my weaknesses are, and then I'll plot an assignment to work on a weakness.

And I almost got run over by a red car at the intersection of Broad and Harrison. It was not fun, it came very close to hitting me -- I was quick enough to bounce to the right when it slammed on breaks.

Stupid Richmond drivers coming around the corner that fast without looking at what they're doing. Don't they know it's a highly pedestrianated walk-area? Don't they understand that they shouldn't be going around the corners like bats out of hell, anyway?

Grr.
