stellie: (drazzi!lamb)
Going to sleep slightly more early than usual! Yaaaay. Getting my stuff together for class at 6pm NOW so I'm not scrambling around for it later.

Work (*coughcough*) from 9am (yes, yes) until 5pm. (Damn it, I'm squeezing lunch in there, somewhere. Gyro bar day!) Figure drawing from 6pm until 9:45pm.

Thursday runs like this:
8am bio exam
9:30-3:30 work
free afterwards because I've already died in art history, my roster just doesn't want to give up yet

the freedom won't last long because I have to clean this room up and get all of my stuff packed/put away

Friday studio 8:30am-5pm. Mum comes to get me after that and SPRING BREAK YAY SLEEP ALL WEEKEND. Woof. Much love for the sofa at home because that's where I'm spending a great deal of my time friday night through monday morning :P

Gah. I can't wait :D

After falling prey to the temptation of watching Rose (*ahem* thanks, [livejournal.com profile] antiwesley :P) I can only say this:

The fandom has been waiting with baited breath since 1989 for the series to revive itself. Even though the Paul McGann telemovie attempt didn't seem to be well recieved in the US (the fact that region I dvds or VHS haven't been released shows how much faith they have in us to buy the product), the series has managed to resurface.

I didn't know what to think at first -- I love my traditional Who. I love the cheesy bubble-wrap monsters and flimsy cardboard sets. I love the endless rock quarries. I love the chilling suspense and the feeling I get every single time I watch an episode on VHS or DVD, new or old. Hearing the theme itself makes my heart skip a beat, as silly as that sounds.

Waited. Sat around last night while it downloaded. Set my alarm slightly earlier than usual so I could watch it when I woke up this morning. The dorkitude mounted when the theme was heard. I knew what was happening as the scene was being set. Every bit [episode name trunicated to prevent spoilerishness] with just enough newness and twist to keep it interesting. I jumped several times. If I had had a sofa to hide behind, I know I would have at least ducked behind a pillow or something.

CGI dustbins? No more cheesy than bubble-wrap. If Rose is anything like the rest of the new series? Bring it on, BBC. Even though I won't be able to see it on television right now, it'll be well worth the wait.

Welcome back, Doctor Who.

In other news, I have a horrendous headache and don't feel at all myself. I haven't a clue as to why I feel this badly .-. Other than lack of sleep, of course, but that's a normal thing. I just feel horrible, that's all .-.

Feeling a little bit better, but I think that's because I'm sitting down doing nothing.

Yay for a job where you sit down and do nothing (okay, not really, but still).

Going to study for the bio exam tomorrow while I have absolutely nothing to do (why did they even bother wanting me to come back? There's NOTHING to do and I'm so bored .-. ) -- I should have brought my laptop with me so I could get some real work done, but... eh. I'll live.

Maybe.

If this headache would leave me alone, I know I'd live.

Had lunch (with Mountain Dew :P) and I now feel lots better than what I did when I woke up this morning. Don't know if it was the yummy lamb gyro that did it or if it was the sugar content in the soda, but I do feel much better.

Aaaaand the Stellie is all alone again T-T

It sucks having nothing to do in the middle of nowhere. I can't even bring my art stuff here with me, save my sketchbook, because I never know what they'll have on the slab for me to do during the time I'm here.

Today, there is nothing. I have figure drawing homework that I *could* be doing (he wants us to draw a hand and a foot, fully rendered, in 3/4 without showing a skeletal structure/base underneath. Just the sketchy stuff) but it's too big and bulky to bother with taking all the way over here to maybe get a chance to work on it.

Stephanie seems a little peeved with me. No one else seems that way, everyone else in the offices was glad to see I came back. Oh well. (Yeah, starting to not feel good again. My body doesn't love me today T-T *headache*)
