Tired, yet again. And, for public knowledge!

For getting that pesky oil paint off of your hands!
Find sandy dirt.
Rubrubrub all over the dry oil paint (house paint or canvas stuff).
Rinse with water.
Repeat if needed.

Better than dipping your hands into turpentine, I assure you :P And you get rid of dead skin at the same time, woo!

...

Let's just say I was painting the fence today. Time for dinner (downpours soon, we've had lots of rain earlier today -- thundering badly right now).

You know, someone tickled me back in December by exclaiming that I had done sketchy-sketches (if you can remember that far back, you know who you are :P ) -- those sketches happen to be the first two pages here. After about seven months, I've started picking up the theme again.

The one thing that kept going through my head as I was finishing a pencil sketch while waiting for the lightning to go away... sketchy-sketch. I hardly ever have a sketchy-sketch and I don't have one yet again tonight. I sit there and... well, obsess over the most silly details. Like the back seam of the toe-exposing stockings that the bunny-guy is wearing. Don't ask -- you'll be able to see it soon enough.

As it is, this 'sketch' could very well be called done and never touched again. Very often all of my 'sketches' end up that way. And I wonder why the hell I do that when, for the most part, they never see the light of day other than as sketchbook fodder. My little bunny guy probably won't make it onto the watercolour paper.

I pour all of that thought and attention into individual components of a story that never gets told :\

That, or I just think too much.
