Sep. 20th, 2005 11:43 amI feel really bad now .-.
"Oh, are you doing this?"
*sitting here stippling tigers* "Yes, sir." *moves paper out of the way so the finished tiger can be seen*
"Wow. And you're an illustration major?"
"No, sir. Sculpture."
"You're in the wrong department, then."
:\
And that's coming from Mr. Meganck.
Gaaaah, now Mr. Bostic is saying the same thing .-. He wants me to reapply here and I'm just going "...but I know I didn't not get picked for here because I'm not good enough!"
"But you should still reapply! Or, at least, take a minor or double major."
"But one illustration class coupled with one sculpture class is already way too much on my plate for me -- I'm a detail-oriented individual .-."
"You should still do it, you'd make an excellent book illustrator."
I'm also horrible at starting things, but never finishing them. To start as a sculpture major -- and to abandon that -- would mean I'm tossing yet another of those starts out of the proverbial window. It's not that I don't *like* 3-D things, it's just that 2-D comes much more naturally for me. Which makes me want to do sculpture all the more -- to prove myself. To myself and everyone else.
And that might be the wrong attitude to take, but hey -- my life. I can do what I like.

Pick a few! Something that suits my whimsy, mayhaps. Something you can easily see me picking up a pen or brush and drawing/painting. Something that I can fit as a good children's picture book.
I'd nearly forgotten about Hans Christian Anderson -- he was one of my favorites growing up.
I'm turning in for the night, I'll be up around 2-ish.
...to finish up the tiger and possibly start on one of the other two.
