I've come up with my two concepts for sculpture. I should have been reading my books instead.

Oh well. Off to bed with me. Hopefully I'll make finals in my brain while I sleep so I don't obsess over sculpture projects all day and night tomorrow later today and/or tomorrow!

...

NOT happy.

People. If you EVER put a glass bowl over a pot in order to use the top that was on it, PLEASE remember to put it concave, NOT convex.

I've broken my favorite mixing bowl because someone did this wrong and I couldn't manuver to get it before it slid off and broke.

Slightly more than pissed off.

I'm in the process of trying to figure out which of my two ideas I want to persue for sculpture. I've got to make mockups for both, but in the end I still need to choose one and get to working on it as soon as possible. Crit is in nineteen days - I'm expected to use at least one tool in the woodshop (which shouldn't be too hard). It's just coming to terms with possible problems before getting started, what materials I'm willing to use, which ones I know what I'm doing with and which ones I don't, height and such.

There's one that would be a full piece around 5'6" or so -- I'd like to have it 6'6", but that's a bit too tall for the average person (and I still think 5'6" is too tall for the average person, but eh).

There's another piece that would have two figures at 1.5'-2' tall each on columns of some sort (still haven't figured out presentation) bringing the total height to around 5'6" as well -- the figures are based off of this digital painting. Nothing meant, it just happened. But the sketch of the figures flow incredibly well and I'd like to try my hands at it.

Don't feel like reading .-. I did make nummy fried potatoes and biscuits today, though. So I'm full and content and just concentrating on my sculpture project like a silly person.

...I think I passed out last night since I didn't dream anything. Usually when I go to sleep with a problem, I find a solution -- the two-figure piece's base was my problem and I woke up with nothing. Pity, really.
