Nov. 26th, 2005 11:31 pmI've completed a 2-ply 102 yard skein just now... it's not for sale, nor is it for trade, et cetera. It is both soft and hard and I don't feel comfortable even giving it to someone else. Due to the harshness, it may very well tear someone's hands to pieces -- not really to bleeding, but definitely wouldn't be pleasant to work with for someone who's hands aren't as rough as mine.
I find it extremely amusing that I spunspunspun the second of the two bits tonight, told myself "Hey! That looks good" and stopped there to ply the two together. Perfect length for the first bit.
First instinct is always the right one.
I'll have scans of it later, probably monday afternoon. Too tired right now and, on top of that, mum's computer needs a good debugging and I can't do anything online in order to download the programs. Nor do I have any blank CDs to grab them off of my own computer right now. So I'm stuck on a computer that moves slower than the one we had until recently, originally purchased in 1998 :P
...I'm also stuck sleeping in the chair as da has crashed on the sofa for the night. Grah.
Irritating Rolly Ball Mouse of Death!
