I have a roommate!
The lady I spoke with over the telephone was very nice, helped me out A LOT. And I could actually hear her, big bonus! So...
I can move into the dorm on the 18th instead of the 22nd -- really, its putting all of my large stuff into the dorm and coming back on the 22nd with myself. Less hassle and not a great big line for the elevator (mum says that she's NOT taking the stairs to bring my stuff up or down to/from the 14th floor >>;;; meh, I don't like elevators ><;; ) and...
...now, on to emailing the new roommate to get the obligatory hello into the water and then figure out all of the messy stuff soon afterwards ><;;
So... what all should I tell her about myself? oO;; I'm really asking you... what should I tell her? X)
Mum and I did the town thing yesterday, if you recall... we had lunch at Arby's. And we were SURROUNDED by little college-age girls, ack ><;; They were all, ALL, talking about diets and clothes and boys and junk which is NOT my cup of tea.
Mum actually told me that, depending on how alone I want to be, I can always talk to the air whenever I want to be left alone... Then I told her about Fred and how I dance with him at the 4-H camp's dance every year :3
She remarked 'I didn't think you'd ever find someone taller than you, I really didn't...' X3
