This dress has more priority than the christmas dress does :D Hopefully this will be a reality by the fall. I want, I want, I so very want. And it seems easy enough (although I often prove myself wrong when I say that >>; ) -- the only hard parts will be to get the ribbon bits to lie flat after they've been sewn together to create the illusion of a solid piece of cloth around the mid-section, and so forth. That, and making convincing leg-o-lamb sleeves and getting the drapery just right xx;
...not to mention getting those tiers with card ensignia proper. Those will definitely be a daunting task.
I'm too mean to me. I make projects that I know I'll either never get around to or I know I'll have rough patches to smooth out in the process X3
I love that dress! I always loved card-inspired dresses. I wanted to be Lady Luck for Halloween and have some sort of card theme, but didn't have any party I wanted to go to this year.
Aw man that dress would rock... Hmmm.. for making the ribbons lay flat, I'd sew them onto a piece of fabric (that'd be finicky work, oi) and then put it into the rest of the dress. I really love that ribbon idea. That's very very cool. :D
