I'm going to, uh... shamelessly promote this :P
ATCs or Artist Trading Cards are generally cardstock 2.5" (inches) x 3.5" (inches) [or 664 X 89 mm] that can be OOAK (one of a kind), editions (limited numbers of prints, numbered) or series pieces (several different pieces surrounding a central theme). They're also generally given away to other artists. Uh... I seem to think that the little group I did this for didn't get that oO; Buuuuut anyway, it'll help me out a bit in the end. And it was muy divertido/relaxing for me :P
Anyway, the theme was 'Best Friends' and I doodled that during my lunch break today. The group is also doing some trading/swapping (theme "Three Wishes") and I've got three cards to do with daschaunds, puppy(-ies) and/or flowers for a swap with eBay user arae_originals (someone else is doing my three: sheep, stars, unicorns :P )
I think this will become a new habit for me, it's really fun to draw on such a small surface and see what happens. I also really love the idea of swapping such small things and seeing what other people have done.
