That's my drop spindle :D The 'dowel' is actually part of an old chair we found in the dump one day, I like the fact that it has little grooves up and down it -- holds onto the yarn pretty well. I tinkered with the head a bit and Chris made the whorl and the hook for me, stuck it all together. The hook itself? She bent it out of a piece of metal rod and made grooves for screw threads. You should all be in awe, I swear :P

My computer keeps acting up .-. Just restarted because the internet clocked out for no reason and now the toolbar basically doesn't exist. I can see it but I can't always use it. Which means, yeah, I'm gonna restart now.
