Aug. 10th, 2004 09:38 amYou know... VCU specifically said that they would have several different things that they would be sending out through email over the summer. Have I seen any of it? No...
They also said that they would send an email when they got my funds straight with my account. Did they? No. I had to find it myself in eServices, instead; although I spent a good hour looking in my VCUemail, back and forth, trying and hoping to see some semblance of 'HEY! We found your money and things have been straightened out.' ...yeah, right, haha, they would take the time to do this? Probably never...
...surely roommate junk is worth emailing someone for. Then I wouldn't have to actually CALL THEM today to ask, they'd just send me roommmate information and be done with it.
...oh, and I sent an email to food services, wanting to know if there were still job positions available for the fall semester, as the advert said to contact through email. That was on July 23rd. Have I heard back from them, now, almost three weeks later? No...

The lady I spoke with over the telephone was very nice, helped me out A LOT. And I could actually hear her, big bonus! So...
I can move into the dorm on the 18th instead of the 22nd -- really, its putting all of my large stuff into the dorm and coming back on the 22nd with myself. Less hassle and not a great big line for the elevator (mum says that she's NOT taking the stairs to bring my stuff up or down to/from the 14th floor >>;;; meh, I don't like elevators ><;; ) and...
...now, on to emailing the new roommate to get the obligatory hello into the water and then figure out all of the messy stuff soon afterwards ><;;
So... what all should I tell her about myself? oO;; I'm really asking you... what should I tell her? X)
Mum and I did the town thing yesterday, if you recall... we had lunch at Arby's. And we were SURROUNDED by little college-age girls, ack ><;; They were all, ALL, talking about diets and clothes and boys and junk which is NOT my cup of tea.
Mum actually told me that, depending on how alone I want to be, I can always talk to the air whenever I want to be left alone... Then I told her about Fred and how I dance with him at the 4-H camp's dance every year :3
She remarked 'I didn't think you'd ever find someone taller than you, I really didn't...' X3

Yes, there SHOULD be Pan-Galactic Gargleblasters, towels, Daleks and... those Bug-Blatter Beasts of wherever the hell they hail from X)

Well, we already have weretacos and papaya tacos, but we would clearly need more tacos and burritos! And maybe a Gir familiar? Though it would have to be completely useless and destructive. And, um, little rubber piggies! And Gameslaves! And AT's could sing the Doom song! Doom doom doom doom doom doom doom...
