So I stayed in the studio from 8:30pm until 4am. The form is delicious and very voluptuous, flows nicely from the floor up and so on. She looks as though she's wearing a dress but, in fact, is quite naked. Not going to worry my head over the neck up. I just don't have time to complete everything before friday morning @ 9am. The form is something I'm really concentrating on and, because I'm no longer worried about the head or the mask (or even the wool falls that are to be draped around the shoulders and such) I'm finding that I put a lot more detail and meaning into the seams and contours that develop along the form.

And I'm very very satisfied with that.

Got all of two hours sleep this morning. Baaaah. So I'm going to crash in a bit.

Unfortunately it won't be any time soon :\ I need to send thank you emails to both her and Homestead Wool and Gift either later today or sometime tomorrow (I might have more time tomorrow...) -- both were quick shipments and exactly what I expected. I've handled a bit of both (started trying to knit up some of Toffee from HW&GF and, omg, it's absolutely perfect) and, yes, I'm quite pleased and would recommend both vendors to anyone.

I know a handful of you wanted to talk to me yesterday but I've been either trying to take a nap here and there or working my ass off in the studio all night and/or catching a class during the day. I always feel really bad for not always being around when folks need me :\
