Well, I just sent an email to bookbyte.com with the subject line:
Help! You charged me twice!!
Yes, yes they did.
To hear an automated service tell you that you have roughly $200 in your account less than you thought you had... makes your heart skip a beat, really it does.
I'm getting it all straightened out. I have to. I hate that I've let my checkbook balancing just... go out of the window like this... but its really hard to keep up with things when some businesses don't take out of your account the same day you pay for stuff when you're actually IN the store buying stuff. *coughcough Walden's Book Store coughcough*
And the only thing that makes today happy...
...is the fact that I got my first unemployment check today, just now.
And? It is much larger than I was expecting (they said $95 before taxes -- I have a check for $170 -- not complaining, at all)...
I've ... just gotta get this silly charged-twice shit straightened out. That's my college money they're playing with !!
EDIT: All fixed. Yay.
And the best part? My account is almost up to the 1k mark again. This means I don't have to worry about paying the $5.oo service fee at the begining of August! Woohoo! XD
I'm proud of me. I can save. (Although, sure, I still live at my 'rent's and the only thing I pay for, weekly, happens to be my piddly groceries/sodas... the only thing monthly is my $10 internet bill... and I'm currently not working, so ... who cares?! X3 )
