Umm... yeah. Still haven't gotten any work done (scratch the application, I'm going to dive into my colour theory work before it gets too late to even think about it, gah ><; ).
But, you know what?
We all need to stop worrying about gay-rights (although, yes, I understand all of your points -- I do believe that they should be allowed the same 'religious' freedoms we all hold dear). Case in point, anti-gay license plates. OMG what the fuck are we thinking, Virginia?!
We all need to stop worrying about if we should allow prostitution to be a legalised profession (although, yes I do believe it should be legalised). Case in point... well, I'll just point you to this link and let you make what you will of it.
We all need to re-adjust our mind-sets towards PROTECTING THE RIGHT TO SPEAK FREELY. Because, apparently, our future (generally) -- the steady stream of graduating youngsters -- have no problem with censorship by the government. If the non-chalant attitude towards such rights continues, there will not be any rights to continue talking and discussing gay-rights or even if we should allow prostitution. :P The country will become a drone to the government's "ethics" and so forth.
Protect the first amendment and remember that all of our other popular current arguments fall under this.
Silly humans.
